Rene Martinez

Lead Special Events Coordinator

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rene started his career with a party rental company in 1977. In 1984 during LA Olympics is what set his career in an upward direction.
In the year 2000, Rene came to A1 Party as a partner, because he wanted to have ownership in something that he loved to do. Since then, he has built an amazing foundation of client loyalty, because of his dedication and promise for the best service for any sized event. He believes truly in giving clients their visions, and exceeding their expectations.

Cindy Santiago

Special Events Coordinator

Cindy has been an amazing leader in her industry for over 25 years! With events all over California from intimate weddings to conferences with over 200,000 people in attendance, there isn’t much Cindy can’t do.

Cindy started at Canvas Specialty back in 1987 as a customer service representative. From there she learned the ins and outs of all sorts of events that her company at the time was responsible for, and worked her way up to supervising warehouse operations and onsite installations at events. In 2000, Cindy met with Rene Martinez and decided to join the team to grow the special events part of the business and there was no looking back.

What Cindy Likes About A1 Party: Cindy likes the endless possibilities for any event with the resources that A1 has, such as a wide inventory of equipment, a dedicated manufacturing department, great staff and supportive team and leaders.

Michael Martinez

Special Events Coordinator

Michael Martinez has grown up in the Special Event Industry. His family’s involvement got him a job as a part time delivery helper at the young age of 14. Michael learned the trades quickly and worked his way up through the company by learning each department, working in almost all of them along the way. From a delivery helper, to a driver and lead installer, to a sales assistant and finally, after proving his talent and learning the business from the bottom up, Michael was promoted to an event coordinator.
Michael has incorporated all of his previously learned skills and experience to help him coordinate many of Southern California’s major events.

Over the year’s Michael has cultivated a loyal client list that reads like a who’s who in the Special Event Industry including many of LA’s major venues, universities and production company’s. From start to finish, Michael brings a personal commitment to each event, a commitment to stand next to his client throughout the entire process, taking pride in paying special attention to each and every detail along the way.

Marcos Madrigal

Project Manager

Marcos is our senior project manager here at A1 and comes with a background of over 30 years of experience! When it comes to mechanical knowledge, proper and safe planning for unimaginable structures, festivals and more, it’s hard to find someone as goal focused for your event.
